Sumer NI is delighted to welcome this year’s intake of new trainee Chartered Accountants, placement students and higher-level apprentices.
The 17 new trainees who have joined us this year are, Trainee Chartered Accountants – Brent Holmes, Cathal McEvoy, Conor Sweetman, James Connolly, Ethan Jackson, Niall Richmond, Robbie Doey, Shay Fitzpatrick, Aimee Heaney, Gareth Kirkwood, Cliona Meighan, Paul Doherty and Claire Stirman. Our placement student is Conor Napier, Ulster University. Sophie Stephenson, Sophie Devlin and Jack Gillespie also join us to complete their Accounting Technicians Ireland course through Belfast Met.
Our group of trainees began their careers at Sumer NI with an intensive but enjoyable ‘Induction Week’ off site at the newly opened Custom House. Now back in the office, the work begins.
New Trainee, Cliona Meighan commented,
“The Induction week was a great way to ease us all into the training contract. Overall, it was a really great week of learning and building relationships with those I’ll be working alongside over the next 3.5 years.”
Adrian Patton, Sumer NI’s Training Director said,
“We are pleased to welcome this year’s Trainee group, our largest yet. We are delighted that due to continued growth of our client base, we are able to provide more opportunities for those wishing to start their accountancy career. Our training programme allows the opportunity for gaining valuable practical experience, whilst studying towards a qualification.”
